ABSTRACT
Cardiac rhabdomyosarcoma is an exceedingly rare and aggressive malignant tumor. We present the case of a 31-year-old man with dyspnea and fever, whose echocardiographic evaluation revealed a left atrial mass causing severe mitral regurgitation. He underwent partial resection, with histopathological findings of pleomorphic rhabdomyosarcoma and positive surgical margins. He received adjuvant chemotherapy with a favorable response, which led to a significant reduction in tumor size and improved cardiac function. However, survival in these neoplasms remains limited due to their high aggressiveness and delayed diagnosis.
