ABSTRACT
Pulmonary neuroendocrine neoplasms (PEN) are defined as a group of lung tumors that exhibit neuroendocrine morphology and immunophenotype. They are usually slow-growing neoplasms with nonspecific symptoms. We present two clinical cases of PENs treated by video-assisted thoracoscopy and anterior minithoracotomy, with subsequent specific diagnosis by histopathology and immunohistochemistry.
